About
Carmine Valentine has always loved reading romance and mysteries, so she decided to write what she loved and blended her two favorite genres into stories of romance, intrigue, danger, and high stakes, but always a happy ending. She’s an award-winning, Amazon Best-Selling author, a graduate of Arizona State University, a bibliophile, an optimist, and a big believer in living your best life, every single day.
She also believes that love can happen when you least expect it. It can be just around the corner or the result of unexpected events that bring two people together. And that gave her the idea for one of the underlying themes to her stories, that sometimes it takes a mystery to get a romance started.
She writes The Barefoot by Moonlight Series set in the Pacific Northwest where she’s lived most of her life and continues to live today. Carmine spends time researching the settings for her books by returning to her favorite places, visiting the islands and small towns in the region either by way of a ferry ride, kayaking, taking a day trip into the mountains, or walking the shoreline keeping watch for a passing whale.

Some of my favorite romance movies all have ‘holiday’ in the title: The Holidate, The Holiday, and Last Holiday.
