Atalanta Street Press is the imprint for producing and publishing the work of Amazon Best Selling author, Carmine Valentine. The team consists of the author and the professionals we’re fortunate to work with for beautifully designed covers, copy editing, and the branding and marketing of her books.

Fun fact on how the name of the imprint came to be. Atalanta was an intriguing figure in Greek mythology, known for her strength, independence, and defiance of stereotypical gender roles. Although Atalanta wasn’t interested in love–unlike the heroines in Carmine’s novels–it was her determination to be true to herself that we admire in this myth of a female legend. Some of what Atalanta embodied shows up in Carmine’s heroines, whether it’s their strength in taking care of themselves or their bravery in seeking out answers to a mystery or being the first to say, ‘I love you.’ Or maybe a bit of her is in the author, or in every entrepreneurial spirit who takes their own path rather than follow traditional norms.
